About Chandler Rusk

Our mission is to help any golfer see and play the game in a new light.

Our method is designed to simplify the body’s movement to swing the golf club on plane. This in turn leads to more consistency, efficiency, accuracy, precision, fun, etc.

We like to understand what goals one is trying to accomplish and help one achieve them as fast as possible with sustainability.

Chandler Rusk

Founder, CMR Golf Team

One of the elite golfers in the Midwest since age 11, Chandler went on to have an illustrious career at Texas Tech and Wichita State. After being named to the Oklahoma All-State team in 2008 and 2009, Chandler was named the 2009 Edmond Golfer of the Year.

Chandler then went on to finish 4th in the 2011 Big XII Championship at Prairie Dunes with Texas Tech. After transferring to Wichita State, Chandler capped his college career as the Missouri Valley Conference individual champion while also helping the Shockers win the team title.

After college, Chandler spent 8 years with a golf instruction company teaching online globally and at golf schools all across the U.S.

Chandler has given over 20,000 lessons and enjoys teaching just as equivalent as playing the game casually and professionally.

  • 2006 - South Central Tournament of Champions - 1st

  • 2006-2009 - 4-time Oklahoma Class 6A Team State Champion - 1st

  • 2006 - Trosper Park Classic Champion - 1st

  • 2008 - AJGA Valero Texas Jr. Shootout - 1st

  • 2008 - AJGA Honorable Mention All-American

  • 2009 - Oklahoma Class 6A Individual Medalist - T-1st (lost in a playoff to Nathan Hughes out of Bartlesville, OK)

  • 2009 - Edmond Junior Golfer of the Year

  • 2009 - 7 Tournament Wins during Senior Year of High School

  • 2009 - 2nd lowest scoring average in Edmond North High School history - 72.3

  • 2009 - Ranked 28th in the POLO Junior Golf Rankings

  • 2011 - KickingBird Classic Champion - 66-66=132 - 1st

  • 2011 - Big XII Championship @ Prairie Dunes - T-4th (Morgan Hoffman won - Oklahoma State, Kevin Tway finished 2nd - Oklahoma State, Tyler Russell finished 3rd - Texas A&M, and tied with Peter Uihlein - Oklahoma State)

  • 2013 - OGA Oklahoma State Amateur Championship - 2nd

  • 2014 - Missouri Valley Conference Team Champion - 1st - Wichita State University

  • 2014 - Missouri Valley Conference Individual Champion - 1st - Wichita State University

  • 2016 - National Car Rental Assistant Championship - 73-66=139 - 2nd

  • 2016 - SCPGA Pro-Assistant Championship - 2nd

  • 2016 - Western Oklahoma Championship - 2nd

  • 2020 - National Car Rental Assistant Championship - 66-73=139 - 2nd

  • 2022 - Firelake Tournament - 1st

  • 2022 - Ody’s Hole Hog with Tim McGraw - 62 - 1st
